Installation
Five steps from Markspot to live on Shopify.
Create your shoppable image
Upload your product photo in Markspot, place hotspots on each product, add names, prices, and URLs. Click Publish to generate your embed code.
Copy the embed code
From your Markspot dashboard, copy the script tag for the image you want to embed. Each image has a unique embed ID.
Open your Shopify theme
In Shopify Admin, go to Online Store → Themes → the three-dot menu → Edit code. This opens the Liquid template editor.
Paste into your template
Open the template file where you want the image to appear — product.liquid, page.liquid, or index.liquid. Paste the script tag at the desired position in the HTML.
Save and preview
Click Save in the theme editor, then use Preview to confirm the shoppable image appears correctly. Your embed is now live.
